FUNCTIONAL NETWORKING BREAKOUT SESSIONS
Overview: Each networking session will have a moderator, who would facilitate information sharing (top challenges, top successes, ongoing collaboration and cross cutting ideas).  Purpose would be to network with other bureau representatives who are in similar functional areas and to develop ongoing cross cutting collaboration after the Conference ends.

  1. Budget Formulation (Lecture Room A)
    • Michael Mihlfried (OS)

    Overview: The purpose of this session is for Budget Formulation focused management and staff across the Department (within the Office of Secretary and the 12 Bureaus) to informally discuss budget formulation.
  2. Budget Execution (Lecture Room B)
    • Jennifer Ayers (OS)
    • Tim Day (NIST)
    Overview: The purpose of this session is for Budget Execution/Operations focused management and staff across the Department (within the Office of Secretary and the 12 Bureaus) to informally network with each other during the Conference.  A goal is to develop ongoing cross-cutting collaboration after the Conference ends.
  3. Performance and Risk Management (Lecture Room D)

    Overview: The purpose of this session is for Risk Management and Performance focused management and staff across the Department (within the Office of Secretary and the 12 Bureaus) to informally network with each other during the Conference.  A goal is to develop ongoing cross-cutting collaboration after the Conference ends.
  4. Accounting - Accounts Payable (AP) (Dining Room A)

  6. Financial Reporting (Heritage Room)

  7. Financial Systems (West Square)

  8. Internal Controls (Executive Conference Room)
