Powered Industrial Trucks (PITs) Program
This suborder aims to minimize hazards associated with powered industrial trucks (PITs). It applies to NIST employees and associates who work with powered industrial trucks, which includes fork trucks, tractors, platform-lift trucks, motorized hand trucks, and other specialized industrial trucks powered by electric motors or internal combustion engines.
