Dr. Akash V. Dixit is an experimental physicist in the Advanced Microwave Photonics group at NIST Boulder. He received his PhD in physics from the University of Chicago where he developed superconducting qubits as single photon counters for dark matter searches. Now as a National Council Research fellow, he works on a hybrid quantum platform aiming to leverage the best of superconducting qubits and optomechanical circuits.
