Dimitrios Meritis (Fed)
National Standards Strategy Advisor, International Policy and Engagement
Mr. Meritis serves as an Advisor on NIST’s United States Government National Standards Strategy implementation team. He provides subject matter expertise on matters related to engagement with international stakeholders and directly supports the NIST Senior Advisor for Standards Policy, Program Coordination Office, Standards Coordination Office, and International and Academic Affairs Office. Before joining NIST, he served as a Legislative Fellow in the United States Senate, where his policy work focused on technology issues including disinformation, digital literacy, data privacy, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, advanced communications, and relative trade issues.
