Jana Butman (Fed)
NRC-RAP Fellow
Dr. Jana Butman is an NRC-RAP fellow in the Indoor Air Quality and Ventilation Group in the Engineering Laboratory (EL) at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). She completed her Ph. D. in chemistry at Northwestern University in 2023, co-advised by Profs. Franz Geiger and Regan Thomson. Prior to joining NIST, she was a postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Scientific Research at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Her research currently focuses on the gas-phase emissions of plastic surfaces following oxidative cleaning conditions.
