Jordan Carter joined the Applied Genetics Group in January of 2025 as a Biological Science Technician. In 2023, he earned a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences with a concentration in Microbiology and a minor in Infectious Disease Biology from Cornell. During his time at Cornell, Jordan gained hands-on experience in a vaccine and virology-focused lab, where he continued working full-time after graduation. At NIST, Jordan will be working on the NISTCHO project alongside Megan Cleveland. Outside of the lab, Jordan enjoys playing games with friends, watching movies, and going on nature walks (when it’s not too cold).
