Karthick Ramu is an Electronics Engineer in the Alternative Computing Group in the Nanoscale Device Characterization Division of the Physical Measurement Laboratory (PML). He specializes in FPGA-based embedded development. He is proficient in RTL design, development, testing, and verification of FPGA-based high-speed communication devices, and cryptographic engines. He received a B.E. in Electronics and Communication Engineering from the University of Madras, India, and an M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Illinois Institute of Technology. His interests include hardware acceleration, hardware security, and machine learning.
