Lakshmi is a postdoctoral research associate in the Nanomechanical Properties group working on the nanocalorimetry project. With a primary interest in thermal analysis, their current work is the development of a technique to measure nano-scale sample mass for nanocalorimetry. Another ongoing work is the redesign of the chip sensor used in nanocalorimetry. Lakshmi’s PhD work was the rapid solidification studies of metal alloys, which included the use of nanocalorimetry.
