Marissa Ho, BS, has been a Guest Researcher in the Surface and Trace Chemical Analysis Group since 2024. She received her Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from William & Mary in 2023 and is currently a graduate student at George Washington University pursuing a Master of Forensic Science in Forensic Chemistry. Marissa has experience in organic synthesis, nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR), headspace gas chromatography (GC), and gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS). Her research at NIST focuses on developing and optimizing a method for the quantitation of seized drug mixtures using rapid GC-MS.
