Mellissa began her career in manufacturing, contributing to the industry in private sector roles at DynCorp, Lockheed Martin, and Smiths Aerospace before joining NIST MEP in 2009. In her previous roles with MEP, she served as a Federal Program Officer, Resource Manager, and Group Manager, providing essential support to MEP Centers in managing their NIST cooperative agreements.
