Monika Bochert (Fed)
Emerging Technology Research Analyst
Monika is an Emerging Technology Research Analyst at the Public Safety Communications Research (PSCR) Division within the Communications Technology Laboratory (CTL). In this role, she conducts research and analysis related to the usability of technology tools for first responders under the User Interface/User Experience (UI/UX) portfolio, as well as the use of lidar for public safety indoor mapping under the Location-Based Services (LBS) portfolio. She also manages other program initiatives such as the coordination of annual summit technology demonstrations and developing other processes to support innovation for first responders. Monika joined PSCR in 2023 and has a background in Program Management and federal funding opportunities. Monika holds a dual Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Studies Education and German Language and served in Peace Corps Mongolia from 2017 to 2019.
