Nik Hrabe (Fed)

Nik Hrabe is a staff metallurgist and project leader at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) where he currently leads the Additive Manufacturing (AM) Fatigue and Fracture Project .  He began working in AM in 2006 studying fatigue behavior of titanium lattice structures for orthopaedic applications.  Before coming to NIST, Nik worked for 3D Systems Healthcare using PBF-EB and PBF-L to develop implants and instrumentation, secure regulatory approval, and contract manufacture for clients within the medical device industry.
