Teresa Cronise is the Executive Assistant to the Director and Deputy Director of the Material Measurement Laboratory (MML). With a passion for empowering executives and admins in MML to achieve their goals, she has served in this role for 14 years. She coordinates all logistical and administrative items associated with supporting high-level workshops, seminars, tours, and visitors for the OU until the events are completed. She serves as the point of contact for the MML Lab Office, which involves managing lots of requests and email messages. Additionally, she manages the Emeritus Program and the Years of Service Awards Program, which requires good organizational skills. Dedicated to serving MML staff in administrative roles, Teresa also holds monthly meetings, prepares training materials, and organizes the end-of-year achievement presentation for the MML admin team. She employs MS Teams to communicate all admin news, prepares a regular newsletter, and coordinates monthly training for admins in MML. Prior to joining MML, Teresa worked as an office manager/loan specialist at the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) for two years. Before that, she was an Information Specialist in the Standards in Trade Program at NIST for more than 15 years. NIST has been Teresa’s home for over 30 years, where she has been fortunate to take on a variety of administrative roles, all in the spirit of helping the organization reach its goals.
