Clinical and Forensic Reference Materials

Summary

The Applied Genetics Group produces DNA and RNA-based reference materials to support measurements and validation within the Clinical and Forensic communities. These materials also support commercial vendors in the development and validation of emerging tests and diagnostic methods. The use of reference materials is highlighted in standards documents (e.g., ISO 17025). These materials play a critical role in the validation and verification of methods prior to implementation in a laboratory.
