The primary goal of the US Technical Advisory Group (US TAG) to International Organization for Standardization (ISO) Technical Committee (TC) 334 Reference Materials is to promote standardization in the competent production and use of reference materials, including the concepts, terms, and definitions related to reference materials. NIST administers the US TAG to ISO/TC 334: Reference Materials to coordinate US input to standards development to support the competent production and use of reference materials. The US TAG, accredited by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI), adheres to the cardinal principles of consensus, due process, and openness. The US TAG strives to maintain a membership that represents balanced US reference material interests.
