Abstract

The Mission Critical Voice measurement methods team previously developed an access time measurement system. We later discovered that there was potential for systemic error to be introduced in the measurements of access delay. This error can be caused by extraneous audio prior to the start of an MRT keyword in the test audio clips that were developed for this measurement. A correction has been defined as a start of word correction. This session will describe this potential error, and the start of word correction that we have developed and implemented to improve the accuracy of the access time measurement system.
