Published

Author(s)

Elaine B. Barker, John M. Kelsey

Abstract

This Recommendation specifies mechanisms for the generation of random bits using deterministic methods. The methods provided are based on either hash functions or block cipher algorithms. [Supersedes SP 800-90A (January 2012): http://www.nist.gov/manuscript-publication-search.cfm?pub_id=910345]
