Clathrate Hydrate Database

The Clathrate Hydrate Physical Property Database allows free access to the TRC data collection of published experimental investigations of thermophysical and crystallographic properties of clathrate hydrates.

Accessible data include TRC's collection of phase equilibria for natural gas clathrate hydrates with aqueous phases containing inhibitors or artificial sea waters. Results are also included from the Mallik 2002 Gas Hydrate Production Research Well Program, an international collaboration aimed at exploring the technical feasibility of extracting natural gas from gas hydrate deposits in the Canadian permafrost.

Features

  • Well-organized archived information from experimental investigations of clathrate hydrates
  • Detailed experimental information including sample specifications and measurement methods
  • International coverage of scienfific journals and information on major clathrate hydrate publications

Licensing

The Clathrate Hydrate Database is freely accessible and distributed by
