The Chemical Sciences Division is home to approximately 134 chemists, biologists, physicists, data scientists, and guest researchers. The Division’s technical activities are highly diverse, ranging from the development and distribution of Standard Reference Materials® (SRMs) and Standard Reference Data (SRD) to the invention of radio-carbon sensors, from developing tools for training detection dogs to developing new chemical informatics infrastructures and statistical mechanical extrapolation methods.
