This Info Hour will examine the status of hydrogen applications that fall under weights and measures jurisdiction. The community first recognized sales of hydrogen as a cryogenic fluid. In 2005, spearheaded by the American Competitiveness Initiative to move U.S. energy toward global independence and cleaner reliable sources, we saw the development of commercial measurement standards for gaseous hydrogen when sold as a vehicle fuel. Two decades later we will consider applications that were predicted and realized for hydrogen technology and options for addressing them in the marketplace.
