The 15th Annual NICE Conference & Expo took place last week in Dallas, Texas. The conference brought together over 650 participants and featured 4 pre-conference workshops, 32 exhibitors, over 50 sessions, several keynotes, networking opportunities, and more. Data updates to CyberSeek confirm that the demand for talent continues to outpace supply despite growth in available education and training programs.
In addition to the latest workforce data, CyberSeek has incorporated updated components of the NICE Workforce Framework for Cybersecurity (NICE Framework), which includes new and updated cybersecurity Work Roles, Competency Areas and Task, Knowledge, and Skill statements.
Two new resources have been made available in support of NICE Strategic Plan Goal 4.6, "Expand international outreach to promote the NICE Framework and document approaches being used in other countries."
Following the release of NICE Framework components v.1.0.0 earlier this year, the NICE Program Office is pleased to share that the components v1.0.0 are now available in five translations.
Additionally, a list of Cybersecurity Skills and Workforce Frameworks is now available. The list includes a representative sample of cybersecurity, cyber-related, and digital literacy skill and workforce frameworks.
Leadership from the National Security Agency and Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency recognized over 40 institutions of higher education as they received or renewed their NCAE-C designation.
