Ms. Nathan is recognized for her dedication in providing awareness tools and activities annually for Black History month. A large display of awareness tools, weekly quizzes and emails to staff with tidbits of history and famous quotations are all activities that are meant to engage and educate staff on the history of African Americans. The month culminates with an impressive celebratory Food Tastin’ – a potluck of ethnic food complete with music and entertainment.
