Sherry D. Sheckels (Fed)

Physical Science Technician

Sherry Sheckels is an experienced metrology professional who has been with the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) since 2000. In her career, she has specialized in performing volume and density calibrations, including calibrating a wide range of volumetric test measures, from slicker plate type to standard volume test measures with capacities ranging from 1 gallon to 1,500 gallons. Sherry also plays an active role in the American Petroleum Institute, representing NIST at both spring and fall meetings. She also is performing gas flow calibrations in the Fluid Metrology Group.
