Abstract

This work showcases four examples of scientific visualizations across various domains of research and science that were prepared at CSIRO in Australia, and NIST in the USA: visualization of bone cancer, RF propagation through the human body, touch-less interactions with bacteria colonies, and concrete hydration simulation visualization. All of them represent a meaningful way of presenting data to a scientist or researcher, support understanding of underlying phenomena, and also allow interaction with the data.
