Abstract
The source of the data is the collection of thermal conductivity data produced by NIST from 1933 to 1983 using their 200 mm guarded-hot-plate apparatus. During its service, the apparatus was considered the U.S. National standard for thermal conductivity measurements of insulating and building materials. The database contains 2175 records of thermal conductivity data for a variety of thermal insulations such as cellular plastics, corkboard, glass fiber, among others, as well as building materials such as fiberboard and lightweight concrete. The database is intended as an authoritative reference for tabulated handbook data for the heat transmission properties of insulating and building materials.Citation
