Applications of Micro-Ring Resonator Filter Devices

Abstract

Recently reported micro-ring resonator filters have demonstrated their compactness and signal processing functions. These features are attractive for large-scale integrated photonic circuits. This paper reviews the development and discusses the potential applications of these devices.
