Cyra Golwalla (Assoc)
Cyra is currently spearheading testing the new OWM Contacts System (SalesForce) application in preparation for it's release in early 2024.
Upon receiving her MBA in Business Management from Mount St. Mary's University, Cyra completed her Pathways Internship.
Cyra served as a student intern in the NIST Pathways Program for the OWM training program of the Office of Weights and Measures (OWM) in the Physical Measurement Laboratory at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST).
Cyra was responsible for assisting the OWM Training Coordinator, Yvonne Branden, in managing the OWM Contacts System. This System centralizes management of training accounts, scheduling training, and processing each class. OWM is accredited by the International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET). Also assisted her with prepping class materials and ensuring their completeness for each class.
Cyra was also responsible in helping with the design and implementation of a new OWM Contacts Management System using a Salesforce storefront platform. This new platform is intended to enhance the OWM training program and greatly improve both the instructor and participant’s experience while providing ready-access to OWM training class records and knowledge base.
She was one of the principle coordinators of the main OWM email delivered through Salesforce platform. This email is primary source of inquires from the general public and OWM stakeholders.
