As Moore’s law comes to an end and the demand for more information processing performance keeps growing, researchers are working on an increasingly diverse set of alternatives to conventional digital processing in silicon. From new ways to represent ones and zeros in a binary system to quantum qubits and artificial synapses, the electronic devices that are emerging present new challenges for measurement and characterization. We leverage our technical expertise in several areas to target key measurement development needs across a diverse range of technologies.
The Alternative Computing Group has three projects in Electronic Device Measurements. Click on the links below for more information.
