Spectrum of Th-Ar Hollow Cathode Lamps, Description of Tables

A description of the tabulated data is given in table 1. The Ritz wavenumbers or wavelengths and uncertainties in columns 1 & 2 are taken from the optimized energy levels of Redman, Nave & Sansonetti 2014, as are the level designations in columns 7-10 for lines of thorium. The level designations for other species were taken from the references listed in section Linelists. The measured wavenumbers or wavelengths and uncertainties in columns 3 & 4, and the relative intensities in column 5, are taken from the references in column 11. Since intensities are highly dependent on the running conditions of the lamp they should be used with caution when comparing spectra under different operating conditions. The identification of the line is in columns 6-10, taken from Redman, Nave & Sansonetti 2014.
