Abstract

The purpose of the work resulting in this report was to compare literature values of contaminant concentrations in the 39 species of Arctic seabirds that live or breed in Alaska. Contaminant data from literature tables are currently being entered into the, Arctic Seabird Contaminant Database and Annotated Bibliography (ASCODAB) for a comprehensive review. This report focuses on the 446 references in the annotated bibliography. A review of the bibliography including language of publication, publisher, contaminants reported, tissues examined, location of study, and other keywords precedes the annotated bibliography. Indices for authors, publishers and other keywords are included.
