Abstract

Two weak vibrationa bands, the (8,0) and (8,1) bands of the O2+ A2IIu - X2IIg System, are Characterized by Laser-Induced Fluorescence (LIF) for the First Time. Preliminary LIF Determinations on the O2+ (v=0, 1) distributions from the reactions of Ar+, and Xe+ with oxygen are presented.
