Description

The Agreements Team enables and coordinates the accurate and timely review of reimbursable and payable agreements between NIST and our external partners. This includes Federal inter-agency agreements and non-Federal agreements (e.g. memoranda of agreement/understanding) with other organizations in which the NIST will receive or provide research, goods or services.

Reimbursable Agreement: All agreements that transfer funds from a requesting organization TO NIST (i.e., money coming into NIST for services provided).

Payable Agreement: All agreements that transfer funds FROM NIST to a servicing organization (i.e., money leaving NIST to pay for services provided to us).

Agreement format: For Federal agreements, NIST prefers the Treasury 7600 forms, although we may use other forms from other federal agencies. NIST uses a standard template for non-Federal agreements.

The Agreements Team DOES NOT facilitate the following:

• SRMs (Standard Reference Materials)
• NVLAP (National Voluntary Laboratory Accreditation Program)
• NVCASE (National Voluntary Conformity Assessment System Evaluation)
• Cooperative Research and Development Agreements (CRADA)
• Grants
• HR Details
• Non-Funded memoranda of understanding (MOU)
