This page includes common trajectories for use with 3He Neutron Spin Filters (NSF). These are particularly useful on the PHADES Test Station.

Trans_no_wait.pdf | This trajectory measures the transmission of a single NSF without changing the cell state. It produces 1 file per point and puts them in a file group. |
Trans_with_wait.pdf | This trajectory measures the transmission of a single NSF without changing the cell state. It produces 2 files for each waitPoint. All data is grouped by the designated waitPoint. |
PA with wait.pdf | This trajectory provides polarization analysis of 2 NSF cells. It produces 5 files: 1 for each cross-section and 1 for a waitPoint. All data is grouped by the designated cross-section plus the waitPoint. |
PA with wait single file.pdf | This trajectory provides the polarization analysis of 2 NSF cells in a single file. Each cross-section has its own column. |
Pol flip with wait.pdf | This trajectory measures the transmission of a single NSF. It produces 1 file for each cell state: UP and DOWN. All data is grouped by the designated cell state plus the waitPoint. |
Trans_wait_7T.pdf | This trajectory measures the transmission of a single NSF without changing the cell state. It produces 2 files for each waitPoint. All data is grouped by the designated waitPoint. |
