OWM regularly updates the list of Directors for the 50 states, the District of Columbia, and the territories of Guam and Puerto Rico. We include the current Directors, Chief, or Administrators, along with a state website link, phone, and mailing address.
OWM regularly updates a listing of the state metrology laboratories for the 50 states, District of Columbia, and territories, the USDA Agricultural Marketing Service/Federal Grain Inspection Service. We include a website link to the laboratory office, along with the mailing and shipping addresses, a copy of the past and current Certificates of Metrological Traceability (if available) and the contact information.
OWM issues a directory of all officials for the U.S. states and its territories. This provides contact information for all current Directors, Chief, or Administrators along with a staff listing, state website link, phone, and mailing address.
The National Council on Weights and Measures (NCWM) is a professional non-profit association of state and local weights and measures officials, federal agencies, manufacturers, retailers and consumers.
The National Type Evaluation Program (NTEP) program is administered through the National Council on Weights and Measures(NCWM).
The International Organization of Legal Metrology (OIML) is a treaty organization that develops voluntary standards (called Recommendations) intended to harmonize national legislation among Member States in areas where regulated instruments and measurements are involved.
