Administrative Specialist
Ms. Branden serves as the Training Coordinator and Web Coordinator for the OWM training program of the Office of Weights and Measures (OWM) in the Physical Measurement Laboratory at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST).
As the OWM Training Coordinator, Ms. Branden is responsible for managing the OWM Contacts System. This System centralizes management of training accounts, scheduling training, and processing each class. OWM is accredited by the International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET). Ms. Branden assists the Quality Manager to ensure continued compliance with the IACET accreditation for OWM training program.
As an Administrative Specialist, Ms. Branden is also responsible for the redesign and implementation of a new OWM Contacts Management System using a Salesforce storefront platform. This new platform is intended to enhance the OWM training program and greatly improve both the instructor and participant’s experience while providing ready-access to OWM training class records and knowledge base.
