The NIST on a Chip program aims to make cutting-edge measurement technology available anywhere, anytime to users in industry, medicine, defense and academia. We celebrate every success in bringing NOAC technology from NIST’s labs to the rest of the world.
This section of the NOAC website contains success stories demonstrating some of the many real-world applications of NOAC technology, from jam-resistant GPS receivers for soldiers in the desert to compact satellite sensors that can accurately measure the total energy output of the Sun.
We will add new success stories to this section as additional NOAC applications emerge in the wider world.
