In the application, you will need to electronically sign a statement indicating that you understand the Baldrige Program's requirements for Disclosure of Conflicts of Interest.
Selected examiners will need to provide information that allows us to determine conflicts of interest with Baldrige Award applicants. You will be asked to disclose the identity of employers, competitors, key customers, key suppliers, and clients—past, present, or potential—whose interest might be favorably or unfavorably affected by your actions as Baldrige examiner. You will need to sign the disclosure before attending training. Any material misstatement of fact in your application or incomplete disclosure of conflicts of interest will be grounds for disqualification from the review process or dismissal from the Board of Examiners. In addition, you will be required to update your employment, financial, and client records periodically throughout your appointment.
The 2025 Examiner Preparation training course will be provided at no cost. Additionally, the Baldrige Program covers all travel-related costs for site visits.
Virtual
Completion of all online courses and group discussions is required.
Selected examiners will complete a rigorous virtual examiner training course focused on the Baldrige Award Criteria and the Examiner role in the Baldrige Award process. This consists of 20-25 hours of online training modules and group discussion.
After receiving notification that you've been selected for the board, you will be provided with instructions to enroll in the Examiner Preparation training course.
You must successfully complete all training in order to remain on the Board of Examiners and assigned to an examiner team.
