Cooking Measurement Equivalencies

These approximate equivalents of common capacity (volume) and mass measurement units may be used for home cooking applications. In the metric system, both fluid and dry commodities are measured in volume units, such as the cubic decimeter (dm3), liter (L), or milliliter (mL).
