Who We Are and What We Do 

The Baldrige Performance Excellence Program is the nation's public-private partnership dedicated to improving the performance, resilience, and long-term success of U.S.  businesses and other organizations. Working with partners, collaborators, and hundreds of volunteers, the Baldrige Program 

• Raises awareness about the importance of organizational resilience and performance excellence in driving the U.S. and global economies 
• Provides organizational assessment tools, frameworks, and an award criteria focused on the elements of long-term organizational success 
• Helps organizations achieve a competitive advantage and success in the marketplace 
• Educates leaders in businesses, schools, health care organizations, and government and nonprofit agencies on the successful performance practices, principles, and strategy of best-in-class organizations 
• Identifies and recognizes national role models and honors them with the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award®, the only Presidential Award for organizational resilience and long-term success 

In collaboration with its partners and collaborators, including the Baldrige Enterprise (the Alliance for Performance Excellence, Baldrige Foundation, Communities of Excellence 2026, and ASQ), and hundreds of volunteers, including examiners, judges, and overseers, the Baldrige Program offers organizations
