Our Team
The organizational structure of BBD includes a division office and 5 research groups led by group leaders who themselves conduct research and are engaged in standards leadership and development activities.
Drawing from an unrivaled scientific environment at NIST, our cross-disciplinary teams of biologists, engineers, chemists, physicists, and computer and data scientists are empowered to carry out fundamental research in biological measurement science, foster innovation, and develop transformative standards.
