Regional Alliances and Multistakeholder Partnerships to Stimulate (RAMPS) Community

NIST-NICE announced 33 new cooperative agreements totaling nearly $6.6 million aimed at building the workforce needed to safeguard enterprises from cybersecurity risks. The grants of roughly $200,000 each will go to 33 education and community organizations in 20 states that are working to address the nation’s shortage of skilled cybersecurity employees.

  A core set of workplace skills and summaries that discuss why and how these skills might be applied in relation to cybersecurity work.

  An environmental scan of cybersecurity, cyber-related, and digital literacy skill and workforce frameworks from around the world.

February 6, 2024: NICE Framework Integrators Meeting. This meeting brought together key users of the NICE Workforce Framework for Cybersecurity (NICE Framework) to discuss the NICE Framework versioning and release process and get feedback on challenges integrators might face when incorporating updates to the NICE Framework components.
March 5, 2024: NICE released version 1.0.0 of the NICE Framework Components. Learn more here.

March 7, 2024: NICE Framework Cyber Resiliency Competency Area Development. This meeting brought together subject matter experts to discuss this new Competency Area and the requisite knowledge and skills needed to demonstrate capability in this area.
