NIST Handbook 44 - 2022
At the 2018 NCWM Annual meeting item LMD-2 was adopted adding a part (e) to paragraphs S.1.6.7. & S.1.6.8. in Section 3.30. Liquid-Measuring Devices of NIST Handbook 44 to require an alpha or numeric dispenser designation be printed on the receipt for retail devices covered under these paragraphs. This change was reflected in the 2019 version of NIST Handbook 44 but was inadvertently removed from the 2020, 2022, and 2023 versions of NIST Handbook 44. This omission has been identified and corrected.
